About the Panellists
Karen Newnham is a Principal Business Analyst with deep experience across both the private and public sectors, working at the heart of change delivery and business transformation. Passionate about the profession, Karen serves as Professional Development Director for IIBA UK, working to support and grow the wider BA community.
Karen believes that the best way to truly understand a profession is to laugh at it. Preferably together.
Michelle Shakesheff is an experienced BA manager with nearly 20 years experience of leading business analysis teams. Michelle is a keen advocate for self-development and passionate about life-long learning.
Vadim Deylgat discovered his passion for Business Analysis at the intersection of his training as a psychologist and his deep interest in information technology. With years of business and IT experience in his backpack, he now focuses on training and coaching best practices to the analysts at Colruyt Group IT and on building a thriving BA community where knowledge sharing is second nature. He leads the adoption of AI tooling within his BA community and is a strong advocate for developing the critical mindset and interpersonal and communication skills needed for any BA who wants to remain competitive in an uncertain future. Vadim is a regular speaker at conferences, such as BA&Beyond, Business Analysis Conference, IIBA Brussels Chapter, universities, and corporate events.
