Ever feel like self doubt is holding you back? Does fear of failure or change keep you stuck in your comfort zone?
Lurking in the minds of even the best business analysts are Mental Monsters—those sneaky inner critics that amplify our worries and convince us that ‘we’re not good enough’ or that our work ‘has to be perfect’. But don’t worry – there is a way to name them and tame them!
In this session, Helen took a look at these inner foes, dragging them out of the shadows to enable better conversations about what holds us back from our full potential, identifying the impact they might have and sharing strategies to overcome them. The session was recorded and can be viewed below:
Key Takeaways:
✔️ Name them – An introduction to the Mental Monsters and exploration of how these can show up in our work as BAs, helping you to identify what your own inner foes might be
✔️Unshame them – through the framing of these negative emotions and behaviours in an innovative way we will encourage a more open conversation about the personal challenges we all experience but perhaps don’t talk about
✔️ Tame them – Learn simple strategies to challenge and reframe limiting beliefs and come away inspired to take action
