FAQ: Webinar Recordings

A question we’re often asked is “will this webinar recorded?”. We’re pleased to say that, when a speaker permits us to, we always record our free #BACommunity webinars. This means that you can watch the webinar on demand at your leisure.

How do I access the recording?
We run different styles of online events, so the way that you access the recording varies slightly:

Zoom Webinars: If you were registered for the webinar, providing you opted in to receiving follow up emails, you’ll automatically be sent a link to the recording, usually within 24-48 hours. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.

This means, if you’re interested in seeing the recording of a webinar that’s happening in the future, the best thing to do is to register and opt in to receiving follow up emails. That way, you’ll automatically receive a recording, along with other interesting content.

If you didn’t register for the webinar, or didn’t opt in, you can still access the recording (but you won’t get sent a link automatically). You’ll find that we post the webinar recording on the ‘latest news’ section of our homepage (www.blackmetric.com) shortly after the webinar concludes, and also at BA Hub (bahub.video) within a couple of weeks.

LinkedIn Live Sessions: LinkedIn live sessions are automatically recorded, and can be accessed directly from LinkedIn. All you need to do is access the Blackmetric Business Solutions page on LinkedIn, find the event, and press play! The event will display as ‘event ended’, and clicking on the image will start the video. An example is shown below:

Exceptions
There are of course a few exceptions to this rule. We don’t record interactive events such as workshops, training sessions and networking events. This ensures that everyone can be as open as possible in their conversations. We also (very occasionally) have speakers who ask not to be recorded. However, the guidance above applies to most of the regular webinar events that we run.

Need to find a historic / older webinar?
If you’re interested in finding a webinar that was run some time ago, you can check our YouTube channel or BAHub.Video

We hope that you find this information useful, and hope that you enjoy watching our webinars and online content.
