Increasingly, organisations are seeking agility in the way that they operate. There is an ongoing shift from project to product management, and from long-term predictive methods to iterative and experimental approaches. This shift requires us to be flexible and to adapt the tools we use to the context. We need to resist the urge to do something just because “agile says…” (Spoiler alert: “agile” doesn’t actually say anything; it is best thought of as an adjective, something that describes how we work rather than a definitive and prescriptive state or process)
This may leave you asking the question where does business analysis fit into an agile initiative? And what benefits will there be to my organisation? If so, this is the webinar for you! In this interactive and informal Q&A session, Kent McDonald will answer your questions about this tricky and important topic. The precise topics will vary depending on the questions asked on the day, but we anticipate covering topics such as:
– What do the terms ‘agility’ and ‘agile’ actually mean?
– What is the difference between product and project management?
– Where does business analysis fit in a typical agile initiative?
– What are some key pitfalls we should avoid?
– Key tips for excelling in an agile context.
