Webinar Recording: Bouncing Back from BA Redundancy: An Interactive Panel Session with Michelle Shakesheff and Simon Rookledge

In this #BACommunity Webinar we were joined by Simon Rookledge and Michelle Shakesheff to discuss how to bounce back from being made redundant. The session was recorded and you can view it below.

Those who attended the webinar live captured their collective thoughts on a Jamboard. You can see a preview of the Jamboard below, and can access it here.

About the Webinar
Organisational restructuring, “downsizing” and redundancies seem to be a constant feature of corporate life.  Being made redundant can feel extremely personal, and it can be difficult to know what to do next.  Should you get a certification? Get active on social media? Use a recruitment consultant? Take some time out? Or some combination of all of the above?  There are a mind-boggling number of factors to consider, including:

– How to deal with the emotional response to being told your role is redundant
– The short term steps you should take
– How to craft a CV that will grab the attention of a recruitment consultant and a hiring manager
– The role of networking
– Whether certification will help
